As Buena Vista Street is just beginning its construction at Disney California Adventure, I thought it would be a great time to take a closer look at the model for this exciting new gateway into the park!
Take a look at the overview of the model. The bottom is the new entrance area that is already open!
Next we are taking a closer look at The Red Car Trolley stop near the entrance of the park!
Here is the new monorail bridge. Gone is the Golden Gate Bridge and replaced with the Hyperion Bridge!
Now we are looking at some of the new shops and restaurants! The store on the top is the former Greetings From California store! The bottom of the photo is the beginning of the Carthay Circle fountain. This was the former Sunshine Plaza area.
Next up is a closer look at the Carthay Circle Theatre itself!
This is an overview of the area formerly known as the Sunshine Plaza! Look at all the changes!
This mini plaza area is on front of the former Greetings From California store and will be the home of the Storytellers Statue! This statue will be the younger Walt and Mickey and will compliment the Partners Statue across the way at Disneyland!
