Review of Chimpanzee
I look forward to each Disneynature release and this year's offering is an incredible story of love and courage in Chimpanzee!
Watch the official trailer below:
The fourth film by Disneynature does not fail to deliver on the beauty of the wild and their stories. This story is set deep in the African forests and centers around a young chimpanzee named Oscar. We quickly learn that every single day is one of adventure for this young chimp.
Tim Allen narrates this film and brings just the right touch of heart and humor. The below clip is a perfect example of some of the humor Tim brings to the film.
I don't want to spoil this film for anyone, but the trailer does let you know that something happens and Oscar is left alone. He struggles to find someone else to care for him. The chimp that decides to care for Oscar is truly an unprecedented event.
This heartwarming tale reminds us that love is sometimes even in the places we least suspect. Throw in amazing visuals, a great score by Nicholas Hooper, and of course the great narration by Tim Allen, all make this a great family film.
For every moviegoer that sees Chimpanzee during opening week, Disneynature will make a donation to the Jane Goodall Institute.
