What the Bleep Golf Tournament

Camarillo residents Cheryl and Isaac Lowe are putting on a first annual charity golf tournament to raise money for scholarships to help deserving students.

However, instead of charging the golfers to play to raise the money, Mr. and Mrs. Lowe are actually spending their own money($50,000 - $60,000 estimate) and inviting golfers to play for free. They are also providing free lunch, dinner and drinks for everybody, even guests!

The Lowe’s are just hoping that if somebody had a nice day of golfing, he or she might make a donation to the charity at the end of the day. There is no obligation or pressure to donate. They just want to make a difference.

  1. Earning funds to run an organization is very difficult because it needs many sponsors. But the charity matches are the best option to raise money.
