Event: OC Restaurant Week Launch Party 2013!

This is the Fifth Anniversary of OC Restaurant Week! This was my first time at the OC Restaurant Week Launch Party and I will gladly return year after year! The event is always sold out and after you see some of the food offerings from some of the very best restaurants in Orange County, you will see why tickets go quickly!
Proceeds from this event went to go help No Kid Hungry, a non-profit group to help fight childhood hunger.
Below I will show you a few of my favorites!

Cucina Enoteca had this amazing short rib and polenta! It literally melted in my mouth! So good!

Lobster Mac N Cheese from the folk at House of Big Fish & Ice Cold Beer! One of the best versions I have ever had! The top layer was nice and crunchy and the body was rich and creamy!

American Tavern Eatery & Drink offered this amazing bratwurst with a delicious mustard sauce.

Slater's 50/50 was serving up their famous 50/50 patty! That's 50 percent beef and 50 percent bacon! Thrown in the fried egg and you have one of the best burgers in all of Orange County!

Chambord was on hand serving up their vodka with berries! I admit I stopped by a few times for this one!

Stella Artois, who is my favorite beer, was also on hand!

Frostings Cupcakes not only had their 5th Anniversary of OC Restaurant Week cupcake available but several other cupcakes and cakepops as well!

Sadie Rose has some amazing breads available!

I took home some Sadie Rose amazingness!

Savannah Chop House had this wonderful beef wellington in a puff pastry!

The Melting Pot offered some of their amazing chocolate poured over fruits and rice crispy treats!

Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen offered their famous dessert which was like a chocolate lava cake! Chocolate overload!

Villa Roma had these super addicting desserts!

Blackmarket Bakery had a wonderful assortment of some of their best items including peanut butter blondies!

Such an amazing evening! Fantastic food, drinks and a great opportunity to meet some of the chefs behind some of the best restaurants in Orange County! Make sure you check out one or two or more of these restaurants during OC Restaurant Week!
