Craft Time: Monsters University Pennant
What you'll need
- Pennant template
- 1 Sheet of stiffened blue felt (9" x 12")
- 1 Sheet of navy blue felt (9" x 12")
- 1 Sheet of white felt (9" x 12")
- 1 Sheet of black felt or black cardstock (you only need a small piece for the pupil)
- Hot melt glue
- Wooden dowel (3/16") (optional)
How to make it
- Print the Pennant template on cardstock and cut out the pieces. You will use them as patterns to create the different parts of the pennant.
- Trace the
large flag pattern on blue felt and cut it out. Trace the small flag
pattern on navy blue felt and cut it out. Glue the small flag onto the
large flag.
- Trace the
large "M" pattern on white felt and cut it out. Trace the small "M"
pattern on blue felt and cut it out. Glue the small "M" onto the large
"M".
- Glue the completed "M" onto the flag.
- Trace the
eye pattern on white felt and cut it out. Trace the pupil pattern on
black felt or cardstock and cut it out. Glue the pupil onto the eye.
- Glue the completed eye onto the center of the "M".
- Hang the
pennant on your wall or glue it to a dowel. To glue it to a dowel, turn
the pennant over and pipe glue along the edge of the rectangular tab.
Fold the tab around the dowel, securing it to the pennant.
