Welcome to the 2011 D23 Expo! This is the second D23 Expo and was once again held in Anaheim, CA!
Once again my favorite pavilion was the Parks and Resorts Pavilion! AS the relaunch of Disney California Adventure was getting closer, more models of what we could expect were one display. Here was our first look at the Carthay Circle Theatre.
There was also a beautifully detailed model of Buena Vista Street!
Here was our first look at one of the ride vehicles for Mater's Junkyard Jamboree!
I loved this massive screen display of the Cars Land construction. You felt like you were right there!

My other favorite area was the Walt Disney Animation Studio area. They had a lot of giveaways and signings throughout the Expo. The directors of Prep and Landing were there to sign this artwork.
The directors also directed the short The Ballad of Nessie.
Disney animator Eric Goldberg was on hand to teach a drawing class!
There was even this working Fix-It Felix video game.
One of the panels was for the upcoming Monsters University and the first look at how Sulley would look in this prequel.
There were also D23 Expo exclusive merchandise like this Woody's Roundup collectible. Mine is still unopen!

Here is just a quick look at some of the amazing things to check out at the D23 Expo! I cannot wait to see what they have at the 2013 D23 Expo!
