my favorite book is the half blood prince. major plot twists and getting to know the darker characters more!
i have this set but my teething dog at the time decided to eat it for lunch. the chest box and a few book covers were ruined! i'd love to have it replaced.
goblet of fire was a fun read because I think it's where the books started getting darker and the return of The Dark One happened there. Half Blood Prince was my fav. book though because it was where we really got to see Snape and learn more about his past.
HArry POtter and THE GOBLET oF FIRE.....I love when DUMLEDORE spoke about the TRIWIZARD tournament and the Weasley brothers try to sneak themselves into it, knowing there was an age law. This one felt a little dark. All the Risks.....
I favorite all of them. There wasn't one book any better than the last. They were all just that good.So if i have to pick a favorite. It's all of them because i just couldn't put them down
My favorite Harry Potter book is the Goblet of Fire, because its when the series goes from explaining the history to more intense plot lines. They go from light hearted stories to were things really start happening!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows!! I love the twists and turns and seeing them off on their own, and how they figure it all out and come together at teh end to finish off Voldemort!
I don't know that I have a single favorite. I like the whole story. I guess I could name 'Philosopher's Stone,' the first one. bethelderton59 at gmail dot com
I don't really remember all the stories, on their individual content, but more as a full collection. I think I liked it best when Hermione and Harry, et al., were growing up and maturing a bit, but before they got to be teens, and romance was introduced. So I guess I liked it best when they were more "kids taking on the world." Still, I love the series!
My favorite is the first! I love it because it reminds me of when my kids were growing up, they both LOVED Harry Potter! My oldest was the same age as Harry, Hermione and Ron when the movies came out and so my kids grew up with them. I have a baby grandchild now and although I bought both my kids the books, I would love to have my own set to read to him from. :)
I loved them all. I was a school librarian..Harry Potter brought those kids to me in droves! Then, between books, I was able to introduce them to other "series" that they might "get by with" until another Harry hit the shelves. They growled when the teacher would assign them a 100+ page biography and complained that they couldn't read a book that long! But a 700+ page Harry Potter.. no problem. Those books taught kids not to discard a title because it is "too big".. give it a chance and see if it is any good.
since I have to choose one I'd have to say my favorite is probably Order of the Phoenix because although Harry's parents are dead it's the first time he's ever had to experience death.
No one believes me when I say this but I have yet to have read the books (ok I did read the first. Then everyone started spoiling everything so reading wasn't as much fun) I would love to read them though and even just recently went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando.
My favorite book is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone ... I read this book on computer and unfortunately It's the only book I've read of Harry Potter series :'( But my favorite movie is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix :)
My favorite is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Professor Snape is my favorite character in the entire series and I really loved getting to see who he was as a kid. He's so fascinating to me for some reason.
Goblet Of Fire is my favorite. I feel like Cedric dying at the end really started to put things in perspective for Harry, on just what it was he had to face.
I would say the first book because it was so magical and fun to be introduced and enveloped in the Harry Potter world that it made you thirst for more.
I like the Prisoner of Azkaban. I feel like Harry finally got the sense of family he'd been longing for. Sure he had friends and their support but at the end he not only found his godfather he found "family" with Lupus as well.
The third and the last ones are my favourites. I love the characters involved and what we get to know about them in both and the stories were my favourites. They're also my favourite movies to watch. Sometimes when I don't have time to go on a marathon I just watch both of them.
how did my comment get published as a reply?! HUH>??? Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone because of the development of the characters. I was full of wonder and shock with the turning of the pages!
Order of the Phoenix is my favorite. Harry has been at Hogwarts for a few years and he's really coming into his own. Voldemort is back and his such a great antagonist and it shows in this book.
My favorite is the Half Blood Prince because you see so much background into what makes Harry.... well, Harry; his family, and Snape and his role in everything also is intriguing.
Deathly Hollows was my favorite. Even though it was sad at parts, it was very interesting to see how the characters were not all how we thought they were.
the first book because after reading it I was hooked onto the world of hogwarts and I loved the goblet of fire because it showed the courage of harry and the beginning of the wizard war
i love the series and thought they just got better and better. I did like Goblet of fire b/c it brought in new and different characters with the tri-wizard tournament.
