  43. I don't really remember all the stories, on their individual content, but more as a full collection. I think I liked it best when Hermione and Harry, et al., were growing up and maturing a bit, but before they got to be teens, and romance was introduced. So I guess I liked it best when they were more "kids taking on the world." Still, I love the series!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I really liked Goblet of Fire because that is where we get to see Voldie's return.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I loved them all but my favorite was the final book because its when we got to see them really get into their powers and fight for the good.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I would have to say the first one because it got me hooked on all the rest :-)

    ReplyDelete
  47. My favorite is the first! I love it because it reminds me of when my kids were growing up, they both LOVED Harry Potter! My oldest was the same age as Harry, Hermione and Ron when the movies came out and so my kids grew up with them. I have a baby grandchild now and although I bought both my kids the books, I would love to have my own set to read to him from. :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. I loved them all. I was a school librarian..Harry Potter brought those kids to me in droves! Then, between books, I was able to introduce them to other "series" that they might "get by with" until another Harry hit the shelves. They growled when the teacher would assign them a 100+ page biography and complained that they couldn't read a book that long! But a 700+ page Harry Potter.. no problem. Those books taught kids not to discard a title because it is "too big".. give it a chance and see if it is any good.

    ReplyDelete
  49. My favorite will always be Goblet of Fire, but all of the even numbered books are amazing! I would love to have a set like this!
