Blu-Ray Review: Winnie The Pooh Springtime with Roo!
Just in time for Spring comes Winnie The Pooh Springtime with Roo!
This direct to dvd release from 2004 makes it's debut on blu-ray!
This cute story follows the Roo, Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger heading to Rabbit's home for Easter. They find a grumpy Rabbit who has a list of chores for them instead of fun and games. Rabbit is tired of them not playing by his rules and has decided to stop celebrating Easter. The story quickly becomes a version of "A Christmas Carol" but made for Easter. Will Rabbit celebrate Easter again? Watch and find out. The story is full of charm and wit and your kids will watch it over and over again.
Video Quality
Despite the age of this film, it looks strikingly similar to the 2011 Winnie The Pooh movie! The video is prestine, with the bright pastels one thinks of when it comes to Easter.
Audio Quality
While there isn't a lot of sound coming from the rear channels, the audio is crisp and clean. Voices, music and effects are all well balanced here.
Bonus Feature: Get Up and Dance!
Featuring the finale song from the movie, this video features four kids dancing to the music. It's a combination of a music video and an instructional dance video all in one.
Conclusion
This cute story will be enjoyable to watch with your family over and over again. Near perfect audio and video make for a great presentation.
