Beauty and the Beast is quite literally my FAVORITE movie ever! One year I only asked for it when it came out on DVD. Picking just one character that is my favorite would be like trying to pick my favorite child! It is impossible! I LOVE Chip, he is so cute and child-like, I just love his character. I love Lumiere, he was my favorite when I was younger, I just thought he was so fun and funny. Belle might be my favorite now as an adult because I see myself in her, I am a nerdy bookworm who can get lost inside the world in each book I read. But, I cannot pick just one, I love every character, it is one of the best movies and my all-time favorite!
Forgot the why part! Mrs Potts is so sweet and nice. Lumiere, honestly, because he is voiced by Jerry Orbach, and it makes me giggle thinking of him playing that part.
