2016 Hyundai Azera Limited - The Best Sedan You Aren't Driving...Yet!

I spent the Fourth of July weekend driving the beautifully streamlined 2016 Hyundai Azera Limited. This is Hyundai's full-sized sedan that offers enough features to take on other more expensive makes. I drove from Orange County to visit my parents in Sacramento. Let's see what I thought about the vehicle after a full week of driving.

The great looks of the 2016 Hyundai Azera Limited begin at the front with that gorgeous Fluidic Sculpture design that is only exceeded by the Genesis. You get HID xenon headlights with LED accents and LED fog lights. The 19-inch alloy wheels provide amazing traction while driving.

The interior says it is a luxury vehicle. The leather upholstery of the 12-way power adjustable drivers seat were so comfortable and supportive on the 6 hour drive to Northern California. The cooled ventilated seat was welcomed while driving through the California Central Valley that reached a high of 108 degrees.

The cockpit is nicely laid out. Everything is easily within reach. I love the two-tone trim that gives it more of a luxury vehicle feel.

The gauges are well-lit and easy to read.

The large 8-inch touchscreen navigation system is impressive, as is the 450-watt Infinity Logic 7 surround sound audio system. A rearview camera is also included. You also get blind-spot monitors with rear cross-traffic alert and lane change assist.

The chrome-tipped dual exhaust is simply beautiful to look at as well.

Making a stop at Bravo Farms in Kettleman City. This is one of my favorite stops on my way to visit my parents. I always stop here to stretch my legs and to get a bottle of root beer milk.

One of my favorite features is the panoramic sunroof. Such a great way to let all that wonderful sunshine in. This was perfect as I drove down in Huntington Beach. You can see the power rear window sunshade in this photo as well. The passenger windows have manual sunshades. This is a great way to keep the vehicle cool during the summer.

Made it to my parents home in Sacramento without having to stop to fuel up. Great gas mileage on a large 18 gallon gas tank. You get 20 mpg city, 29 mpg highway and 23 combined. The large 3.3-liter V6 engine also provides 293 horsepower and 255-pound feet of torque which made getting through the Grapevine a breeze.

The rear passenger seats are comfortable. There is ample legroom and headroom. Plus, there is also front console controlled rear vents to keep your rear passengers cool and cool the interior faster as well. My mom sat in the back was impressed with the comfort of the ride, the air vents and the power and manual sunshades.

The trunk space is surprisingly large. This is perfect for family and shopping trips.

The stylish and elegant 2016 Hyundai Azera comes in a base model and the Limited that I tested. The base version includes keyless ignition, proximity-key entry, Bluetooth connectivity, power front seats, navigation, full leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, heated side mirrors, heated front and rear seats and a 6-inch audio display system.

The Limited adds a 450-watt Dimension sound system that includes XM satellite radio, HD Radio, iPod/USB connectivity and an auxiliary input jack, a hands-free trunk opener, rear reading lights, a power steering wheel, a power sunroof, rear parking assistance and power-folding side mirrors. The Premium Package adds 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a power rear sunshade and manual rear side-window sunshades.

The 2016 Hyundai Azera Limited came in at $40,320.00.

A gorgeous looking vehicle that fits perfectly next to more expensive models and features to match make the 2016 Hyundai Azera Limited the best sedan out there.
