Pandora is 4.4 light years away from Earth and thanks to Alpha Centauri Expeditions (ACE), it is possible to travel this incredible distance to take people to Pandora.
*Pro Tip: Ask the technicians (aka Cast Members) why they decided to make the move to Pandora. You may be surprised at what you may discover.
This is the Flaska Reclinata, one of the largest plants on Pandora and it provides oxygen for humans to breath.
The Valley of Mo'ara is where you begin your journey in Pandora. The floating mountains greet you as you hike under them.
There is beauty everywhere.
Make sure to explore all the trails and pathways! You never know what you will discover next!
*Pro Tip: Do not hesitate to ask the technicians about the flora and fauna of Pandora. They can tell you all about the plants in the area.
The waterways are gorgeous as well. Maybe the water will lead you to the Na'vi River Journey which will take you down the sacred Kaspavan River. A reed boat will take you deep into the rainforest You will get a closer look at the plants and animal life as well as maybe learn more about the Na'vi culture.
Can you see the downed helicopter in the background? This is one of many of the relics of the Great War that can be found. Hard to believe that it has been 70 years since this event took place.
And speaking of helicopters, you won't need one to see Pandora from the air, at the Flight of Passage, you will fly on the back of a banshee. An important rite of passage for the Na'vi, you will get to face the challenge yourself. Soaring over Pandora will be an adventure you will never forget!
This last photo is perhaps my favorite. It is a Na'vi hand with a human hand on the inside and it symbolizes the peace between the races.
You will also find the Satu-li Canteen to try some of the local foods. At Pongu Pongu you will find drinks created out of ingredients native to Pandora. And what visit to a distant planet would be complete without a stop at Windtraders to take home a memento of your visit.
Pandora - The World of Avatar opens on May 27th and Disney's Animal Kingdom.
