Fall Dapper Day 2017 at Disneyland: Dapper Starlord and Rocket Raccoon Escape The Fortress on Sunday
Fall Dapper Day 2017 at Disneyland brought my friend Anthony and I to bring Dapper Starlord and Rocket Raccoon to life! It was meant to be with Guardians of The Galaxy, Vol. 2 being released earlier this year and the opening of Guardians of The Galaxy: Mission Breakout shortly after the movie opened! The amazing Guardians of The Galaxy umbrella was created by my super talented friends Amanda and Matt!
We were tired of being on display so Rocket planned our escape!
Aubree had nothing to do with our escape!
I guess it's ok to take a photo of the place that we were once held captive!
We escaped The Fortress and the Disney California Adventure! Now it was time to make our way to Disneyland!
Vehicle Review: 2017 Toyota Prius V Five - Dapper Day at Disneyland
It time for another vehicle review and this time it is the 2017 Toyota Prius V Five. This is my first time reviewing a Toyota and I was very excited to get into the review! The vehicle is a wagon and easily the largest of the Prius family. The 17-inch alloy wheels are standard on this model.
Adding to the excitement was the fact that it arrived just in time for Dapper Day at Disneyland! While an unofficial day at the parks, it is one of the largest attended events at the park! People come in dressed up in vintage clothing from any era or they do what we do and that is called Disney Bounding! Disney Bounding is creating a look that emulates a Disney character without actually dressing up like them which would be cosplay.
The Toyota Prius V Five has more than enough cargo space to hold all of our accessories as we head to day one of Spring Dapper Day at Disneyland! Dapper Day is Sunday but a lot of people are in town and make a weekend of it. So My friend Erin and I went on Saturday.
Erin and I went and Indiana Jones and of course we took photos at the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction in Disneyland! Our fertility idol replica from Raiders of The Lost Ark got a lot of compliments as did we on our outfit choices!
Overlooking the vast jungle I wondered what adventures awaited us today! This was taken in Tarzan's Treehouse!
Erin and I then traveled by small plane to our next destination! The small plane is located next to Soarin' Around The World in Disney California Adventure.

Vehicle Review: 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE
Take a look at the affordable 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE. Now don't let its small size fool you. The SE model is packed with features! Let's take a look at them as I spend a week driving around Southern California! This would be a perfect car for your kids in college or for a commuter car.
You can see the 15-inch aluminum wheels, the halogen headlights and fog lights all standard on the SE model.
Time to hop into the drivers seat and see what adventures are in store! The cloth bucket seat is comfortable and is adjustable six ways and four on the passengers side. The front seats are also heated!
The driver's cabin is comfortable for a sub-compact vehicle. Everything is easily within reach. There is automatic climate control, proximity-sensing remote locks, push button ignition, cruise control and steering wheel mounted audio controls.
Wait this isn't Disneyland! That's right, we are at Knott's Berry Farm! We are here early so not only do we get great parking but it is time for breakfast at Mr.s Knott's!
Pixar's Coco - Non-Spoiler Review of my Favorite Pixar Film to Date!
Let's start off by telling you that Coco is a triumph from a studio known for knocking it out the park. It is easily my favorite Pixar film ever and it will quickly become yours as well.
Coco is deeply rooted in the Mexican culture and features an almost entirely Hispanic voice cast. This is one of the most emotional Pixar films since those first memorable moments from UP. I am a sappy movie watcher and have no problem telling you that I cried ugly tears during Coco, as did my friend Sara. We both recommend that you do yourself a favor and bring some tissues with you.
This will be a non-spoiler review and I hope that no one will spoil this wonderful film for you. From the trailers we know that this film follows young Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez), the youngest member of a family that has banned music from their lives. The explanation is given in the simple and charming opening sequence. But Miguel has dreams of being a musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt), and after a fateful decision he ends up in the Land of the Dead. But with the help of his deceased relatives, a dog named Dante and a new friend Hector (Gael Garcia Bernal), Miguel tries to get back to the Land of the Living.
The film will not only just tug on your heartstrings but it is a fun adventure filled with the gorgeous animation. The clothing, the colors, the food and the celebration of the extended family shines here. Even though the film is centered on the Mexican culture, we are all reminded that even though we are all different people from different places and backgrounds, the love of family is universal.
Solid storytelling and vivid animation give us another animated classic from Pixar. It is art come to life, music that will stay with you long after the end credits are over and just a gem to behold.

From visionary director Ava DuVernay comes Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time,” an epic adventure based on Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic which takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light.

Disney•Pixar’s “Incredibles 2” is just seven months away!

Nelson) is left to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life, giving him an opportunity to bond with his younger son, Jack-Jack, whose superpowers are emerging—much to Dad’s surprise. Directed by Brad Bird and produced by John Walker and Nicole Grindle, “Incredibles 2” busts into theaters on June 15, 2018.
Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Fall Dapper Day 2017 at Disneyland: Indiana Jones Bound on Saturday
As many of you know, I love Dapper Day and when my friend Erin told me she was in town for a day to hang out at Disneyland and wanted to Disney Bound, of course I said yes! She wanted to do an Indiana Jones bound and I was happy to comply! We hit the parks early and it gave us plenty of time to get some awesome photos that look like the park is totally empty!
The truck here is actually from Raiders of The Lost Ark! You can find this at the entrance to the Indiana Jones, Temple of The Forbidden Eye attraction!
We had to recreate the iconic entrance of Indy in Marion's bar from Raiders of The Lost Ark!
I have recovered the idol! Hopefully there isn't a large boulder on it's way behind me!
A quiet moment in the jungle gives me time to reflect on what further adventures await me!
