Vehicle Review: 2017 Toyota Prius V Five - Dapper Day at Disneyland

It time for another vehicle review and this time it is the 2017 Toyota Prius V Five. This is my first time reviewing a Toyota and I was very excited to get into the review! The vehicle is a wagon and easily the largest of the Prius family. The 17-inch alloy wheels are standard on this model.

Adding to the excitement was the fact that it arrived just in time for Dapper Day at Disneyland! While an unofficial day at the parks, it is one of the largest attended events at the park! People come in dressed up in vintage clothing from any era or they do what we do and that is called Disney Bounding! Disney Bounding is creating a look that emulates a Disney character without actually dressing up like them which would be cosplay.

The Toyota Prius V Five has more than enough cargo space to hold all of our accessories as we head to day one of Spring Dapper Day at Disneyland! Dapper Day is Sunday but a lot of people are in town and make a weekend of it. So My friend Erin and I went on Saturday.

Erin and I went and Indiana Jones and of course we took photos at the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction in Disneyland! Our fertility idol replica from Raiders of The Lost Ark got a lot of compliments as did we on our outfit choices!

Overlooking the vast jungle I wondered what adventures awaited us today! This was taken in Tarzan's Treehouse!

Erin and I then traveled by small plane to our next destination! The small plane is located next to Soarin' Around The World in Disney California Adventure.

Take the tracks on the left! These mine carts near Grizzly River Run helped recreate the iconic mine cart scene from Temple of Doom!

Erin and I ran into my friends the amazing CosPlay Parents! Aren't they adorable as Carl and Ellie from Pixar's UP?

After a fun day in the parks it was time to head home! The SofTex seats are super comfortable! Front seats are heated, with an eight-way power driver's seat and an auto dimming rear view mirror.

Even the rear passenger seats were super comfortable as well. Everyone travels in comfort in the Toyota Prius V Five.

The next day it was time to head back into the vehicle to head to the second day of Dapper Day weekend! This time I was going with my friend Anthony! The cockpit of the Prius is fittingly futuristic as we were going to the park as Dapper Starlord and Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of The Galaxy!

You get keyless entry, automatic climate control and Toyota's Entune cloud-based media and connectivity system on all models. There are audio and climate controls on the steering wheel. The 6.1-inch touchscreen has Bluetooth and navigation with voice control. There is also a 4.2-inch color information screen in the instrument panel.

Time to open up the panoramic sunroof and let all that Southern California sun in! This sunroof is part of the Advanced Technology package.

Dapper Starlord and Rocket Raccoon escaped from The Fortress! The Fortress is home to the newest  attraction at Disney California Adventure, Guardians of The Galaxy: Mission Breakout!

After we broke out we had to take a photo in front of the attraction marquee!

Taking a photo with the StoryTellers statue before we make our way to Disneyland!

Over at Disneyland some friends and I read about how the Guardians of The Galaxy escaped The Fortress. While every else is shocked at how we escaped, I think my face says that this wasn't how it happened at all! All kidding aside, the best part of Dapper Day is the friends you make!

Dapper Day in the parks was amazing and one of my favorite times of the year in the parks! Dapper Day at Disneyland is twice a year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall! The 2017 Toyota Prius V Five was a stylish way to arrive to Dapper Day and was an amazing vehicle to drive!

You will love the mileage the Prius gets as well. The Prius V is rated at 43 MPG in the city, 39 on the highway and 41 combined. The 1.8-liter, 4 cylinder engine produces 98 horsepower that provides more than enough power for the Southern California streets and freeways.

The Advanced Technology package adds automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, radar-based adaptive cruise control, a pre-collision system and an integrated backup camera.

The 2017 Toyota Prius V Five as tested came in at $35, 105.00.
