Vehicle Review: 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE

Take a look at the affordable 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE. Now don't let its small size fool you. The SE model is packed with features! Let's take a look at them as I spend a week driving around Southern California! This would be a perfect car for your kids in college or for a commuter car.

You can see the 15-inch aluminum wheels, the halogen headlights and fog lights all standard on the SE model.

Time to hop into the drivers seat and see what adventures are in store! The cloth bucket seat is comfortable and is adjustable six ways and four on the passengers side. The front seats are also heated!

The driver's cabin is comfortable for a sub-compact vehicle. Everything is easily within reach. There is automatic climate control, proximity-sensing remote locks, push button ignition, cruise control and steering wheel mounted audio controls.

Wait this isn't Disneyland! That's right, we are at Knott's Berry Farm! We are here early so not only do we get great parking but it is time for breakfast at Mr.s Knott's!

Now that is a big rooster! Mrs. Knott's is famous for their fried chicken!

Breakfast is served only on the weekend! You start with fresh biscuits with boysenberry jam, butter and sausage and gravy!

My friend got the fried chicken with hash browns and eggs.

I went with something a little bigger! Pancakes, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and ham! Way too much food and I was pretty full for the rest of the day!

Back in the car and off again! The gauges are easy to read and really stand out.

The 6.5-inch display infotainment system does not contain navigation but does have a backup camera. There is Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility.

And now we are here at the 200th Anniversary of Guinness arriving in America event in Los Angeles.

Take a look at my first Guinness for the evening.

This was an amazing event with taste testing, Guinness infused with coffee, Guinness nitro ice cream, historic artifacts from Guinness and so much more! A great event from the awesome folks at Guinness!

Ample trunk space for all of that Guinness.

The 1.2-liter 3 cylinder engine won't win any races but provided enough power to get through the Southern California area even on the freeways. Driving was fairly solid, steering was solid as well. There are also a ton of safety features including Hill Start Assist, Anti-Lock Brakes, Active Stability Control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, front airbags, side curtain airbags and driver's knee airbag.

I got close to 35 MPG in the City and close to 41 MPG on the Highway.

The 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE came in at $18,085.00. It comes with a 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty, a 7 year/100,000 mile anti-corrosion/perforation warranty, a 5 year/60,000 mile new vehicle limited warranty and even a 5 year unlimited roadside assistance warranty. Your college student or yourself will be in very good hands with this car.

I was impressed with the look of the car, its gas mileage, it's handling and all the features that it came with. This is the perfect college student car or for those looking for a second car for commuting purposes.

  1. The first step is to try and find car dealers that cater for sports cars. The result of this is that you can usually find some places that have these cars. Lamborghini Rental Miami
