Novoo 20,100 mAh AC Power Bank and a Day at The Disneyland Resort
This is a sponsored post on behalf of Omars Electronics but all thoughts are my own.
Would the Novoo AC Power Bank have more power than either scream or laugh energy from Monsters, Inc.? A friend and I put it to the test with a full day at The Disneyland Resort!
As someone who uses a portable power bank on a daily basis, I am always looking for the next big thing and I have found it in the Novoo AC Power Bank! The massive 20,100 mAh battery comes in a cool cylinderical shape and features three different options to recharge your devices including a USB-A jack, a USB-C jack and a standard AC outlet! Basically, you can recharge nearly every device on the market today and recharge multiple devices at the same time!
The Novoo AC Power Bank has enough capacity to power The Collector's Fortress! In our day at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure we got over 5 charges on our smartphones with a full day of photo taking, video taking and live streaming. Both of our smartphones charged quickly as we never needed to stop to sit and charge our smartphones. This left us with more time to take in more attractions, shows and parades!
The size of the Novoo AC Power Bank is slightly larger than a can of soda, measuring 80mm x 80mm x 155mm and weighing in at just 2.2 pounds. So, you don't have to be as strong as Captain America to carry it around for the day!
After a full day at The Disneyland Resort, the Novoo AC Power Bank showed us that it has enough power to Infinity and Beyond! So what are you waiting for, get your hands on a Novoo AC Power Bank (use coupon code NOVOOESS for 15% off).
Omars Electronics also makes a variety of other gear for power users such as the Omars 10-Port Hub

DVD Review: Muppet Babies: Time to Play!
Muppet Babies get a reboot with this new computer animated series on Disney Junior and some of the episodes are on the new DVD collection, Muppet Babies: Time to Play!
I was a huge fan of the Muppet Babies hand drawn animated series and happy to see them return but now as a computer animated series for pre-schoolers. Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal and a new character, a penguin named Summer attend a day care run by Miss Nanny. Each episode contains the Muppet Babies going on two adventures. The episodes often teach a valuable lesson about friendship and there are some fun pop culture references to keep adults entertained.
Video:
While the video quality is downgraded for DVD, the 480p still looks quite good. The detail is great where you can see the hair, fur and even felt texture on each of the Muppets. Colors are bright and vibrant as well.
Audio:
The Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo track fill the center channel quite nicely and even provide some surround sound if you have Dolby Surround or something similar on your receiver. Dialogue and musical numbers are crisp and clear.
Bonus Features:
All of the bonus material is geared for the younger set, which is, the intended audience.
There are two bonus episodes - How Kermit Got His Groove/One Small Problem and Playground Pirates/The Blanket Fort.
Show and Tell Shorts are ten 2-minute shorts where each Muppet Baby takes his or her turn having Show and Tell for their friends.
Music Videos where six of the musical numbers featured in a few of the episodes are presented in MTV music video form. The music videos include - What’s So Scary About the Dark, Never Have To Say Goodbye To the Summer, Get Back in the Game, Good Things Come to Those That Wait, You Can Be a Dancer, and Muppet Pirate Shanty.
Overview:

PRODUCTION BEGINS ON DISNEY’S LIVE-ACTION “MULAN”
BURBANK, Calif. (August 13, 2018)—Production on Disney’s “Mulan,” a live-action adaptation of the studio’s 1998 animated feature, has begun. The film will shoot on locations in New Zealand and China and will open in U.S. theaters on March 27, 2020.
Liu Yifei (“The Forbidden Kingdom,” “Once Upon a Time”) was cast as Hua Mulan following a year-long global casting search. Joining her in the film are: Donnie Yen (“Star Wars: Rogue One”); Jason Scott Lee (“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny”); Yoson An (“The Meg”); Utkarsh Ambudkar (“Pitch Perfect”); Ron Yuan (“Marco Polo”); Tzi Ma (“Arrival”); Rosalind Chao (“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”); Cheng Pei-Pei (“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”); Nelson Lee; Chum Ehelepola; with Gong Li (“Memoirs of a Geisha,” “Raise the Red Lantern”) and Jet Li (“Shaolin Temple,” “Lethal Weapon 4”).
“Mulan” is the epic adventure of a fearless young woman who masquerades as a man in order to fight Northern Invaders attacking China. The eldest daughter of an honored warrior, Hua Mulan is spirited, determined and quick on her feet. When the Emperor issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army, she steps in to take the place of her ailing father as Hua Jun, becoming one of China’s greatest warriors ever.
“Mulan” is directed by Niki Caro (“Whale Rider,” “McFarland USA”) from a screenplay by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (“Jurassic World,” “In the Heart of the Sea”) and Elizabeth Martin & Lauren Hynek based on the narrative poem “The Ballad of Mulan.” The producers are Jason T. Reed (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”), Chris Bender (“A History of Violence”) and Jake Weiner (“Criminal”) with Barrie M. Osborne (“The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King“), Bill Kong (“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” “Monster Hunt”) and Tim Coddington (“Crazy Rich Asians”) serving as executive producers.
Disney’s animated feature, which was released in 1998, starred Ming-Na Wen, Miguel Ferrer and Eddie Murphy and was nominated for an Oscar® and two Golden Globe® Awards.
The story of the legendary warrior is one of China’s most popular folktales, and is still a part of the curriculum in Chinese schools today.
"The Nutcracker and the Four Realms" New Poster and Trailer
All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.

Vehicle Review: 2019 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring - Lincoln, The Muppets, Christopher Robin and More Disney Related Adventures
Hey, everyone it's Jason from Sasaki Time with another vehicle review! This time it is the 2019 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring and I took it on a fun Disney-related adventure for the week throughout Southern California!
Mazda continues to make some of the best looking vehicles in the business and the 2019 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring is no exception! Minor changes for the 2019 version include a refined exterior with a new inner grill design up front and rear lights that look more like the front lights.
Let's hop into the cushy drivers seat. The front seats are now wider and more comfortable.
The console now has faux-suede, the climate controls have red accents and the parking brake is now an electronic one that was moved to the center console.
The Heads-Up Display still makes me feel like a fighter pilot. I love all the key information is right in my line of sight so I do not have to look away as I am driving. Also, all of your turn-for-turn navigation instructions appear here as well for an effortless drive to any destination.
The first Disney-related adventure takes us out to the San Bernardino County Museum. I had never been here before and this is a wonderful museum with great exhibits featuring animals both current as well as ancient that were found in the area. Plus, you get a wonderful history of the people and cultures that made the area what it is today.
But the main reason why we drove all the way out here is for the Mechanized Magic - 40 Years of Garner Holt Productions. Garner Holt Productions creates pretty much all of the audio-animatronics in every theme park for Disney and pretty much every major theme park around the world.

Ralph Breaks the Internet - Sneak Peek
See Ralph Breaks the Internet in theatres November 21. “Ralph Breaks the Internet” leaves Litwak’s video arcade behind, venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet—which may or may not survive Ralph’s wrecking. Video game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush. In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet—the Netizens—to help navigate their way, including Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of the trend-making site “BuzzzTube,” and Shank (voice of Gal Gadot), a tough-as-nails driver from a gritty online auto-racing game called Slaughter Race. Directed by Rich Moore (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph”) and Phil Johnston (co-writer “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Zootopia,” writer, “Cedar Rapids”), and produced by Clark Spencer (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Bolt,” “Lilo & Stitch”), “Ralph Breaks the Internet” hits theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.

Wonder Woman's Gal Gadot Joins “Ralph Breaks the Internet” Voice Cast
Ralph and Vanellope encounter Shank and her unusual cohorts when they venture to the internet in search of a replacement part for Vanellope’s game, Sugar Rush. Shank, a tough-as-nails street racer, takes her role and her tricked-out car very seriously and doesn’t like to lose. When Vanellope finds herself in a street race with Shank, her Sugar Rush driving skills are put to the test—and Shank is impressed. “She is the coolest character in this world of Slaughter Race,” said director Rich Moore. “Shank’s lived a lot, she’s seen a lot, yet she’s got nothing but kindness in her heart—that’s the duality of that character.”
Said Gadot, “Shank is amazing at driving cars and has this bad-girl vibe to her. But as the movie goes on you realize how fun, wise and warm she really is on the inside, which is what I like most about her.”
According to director/writer Phil Johnston, Gadot adds extraordinary dimension to the character. “There's so much texture to her voice and so much living in her voice,” he said. “If Ralph is Vanellope's big-brother figure, we wanted a big-sister figure. We wanted someone that Vanellope would look up to, and Gal is definitely someone kids—and a lot of adults I know—aspire to emulate. I can't imagine anyone else embodying that part.”
Shank’s approach to racing—and life in general—opens Vanellope’s eyes to the limitless possibilities of the internet and the excitement of a new world that feels like home to her. Featuring the voices of John C. Reilly as Ralph, and Sarah Silverman as Vanellope, “Ralph Breaks the Internet” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.

Movie Review: Christopher Robin - Lessons of Life from the 100 Acre Wood
Christopher Robin has grown up and has put the memories of the 100 Acre Wood far behind him. He is now married to Eveyln (Haley Atwell who continues to be one of my favorite actresses) with a daughter Madeline (Bronte Carmichael). But the film spends the first few minutes to remind us of the books of Christopher's adventures with his friend Winnie The Pooh. A.A. Milne immortalized his son Christopher on the pages of the original Winnie The Pooh books and Disney capture these books on the screen for over 50 years.
It is not uncommon for beloved characters to spend their days in eternal youth for future generations to discover them. Christopher Robin did warn us and his best friend Pooh that he too would one day grow up and leave the 100 Acre Wood. But for generations, Robin never grew up and we were left with preparing for a heartbreaking day of leaving your best friend behind for more grown up pursuits.
In a cross between Hook and Finding Neverland, Christopher Robin shows us that childhood is over and that it is time to grow up. After we are taken through that heartbreaking goodbye at Pooh corner we are thrown into the field of battle and then into post-war London.
Ewan McGregor is perfectly cast as Christopher Robin. Ewan can play both distinguished and boyish at the same time. In some ways his portrayal of Robin reminds me of Mr. Banks from Mary Poppins, someone who needs to be reminded that life is more than just work, that the fun still needs to remain. And that when he finds the fun, his life and those around him, will be all the happier for it. So, as Robin's job begins to take a toll on his work and home life, it's time for something to happen. Enter the return of Winnie The Pooh.
Pooh bear returns when he is needed the most. And our adventure begins. One thing that has to be mentioned is the astonishing detail of the CGI 100 Acre Wood gang. They are not only closer to Milne's original vision of the friends than the Disney animated versions but you can literally see the felt material they are made out of and the stitching on the faces.
Part of the charm of Winnie The Pooh and friends has been in their simplicity of understanding themselves, each other and the world around them. We learn that what is needed most in life is making time for our loved ones, that there is a difference between living and existing and never let your career take over your life.
Oh and stay to see the cute mid-credit scene.
