Hey, everyone it's Jason from Sasaki Time with another vehicle review! This time it is the 2019 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring and I took it on a fun Disney-related adventure for the week throughout Southern California!
Mazda continues to make some of the best looking vehicles in the business and the 2019 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring is no exception! Minor changes for the 2019 version include a refined exterior with a new inner grill design up front and rear lights that look more like the front lights.
Let's hop into the cushy drivers seat. The front seats are now wider and more comfortable.
The console now has faux-suede, the climate controls have red accents and the parking brake is now an electronic one that was moved to the center console.
The Heads-Up Display still makes me feel like a fighter pilot. I love all the key information is right in my line of sight so I do not have to look away as I am driving. Also, all of your turn-for-turn navigation instructions appear here as well for an effortless drive to any destination.
The first Disney-related adventure takes us out to the San Bernardino County Museum. I had never been here before and this is a wonderful museum with great exhibits featuring animals both current as well as ancient that were found in the area. Plus, you get a wonderful history of the people and cultures that made the area what it is today.
But the main reason why we drove all the way out here is for the Mechanized Magic - 40 Years of Garner Holt Productions. Garner Holt Productions creates pretty much all of the audio-animatronics in every theme park for Disney and pretty much every major theme park around the world.
Uncle Sam was Garner's first audio-animatronic creation when he was still in High School! He was inspired after seeing Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln at Disneyland. The folks at then WED Imagineering before it became Walt Disney Imagineering caught wind of this and came to Garner's house to not only see his Uncle Sam but give him some pointers as well. And all of these years later, Garner Holt Productions now makes all of the audio-animatronics for Disney theme parks.
The exhibit, while small, takes you through the entire process of creating an audio-animatronic figure. You get to see concept art, molding, all the way to figure finishing and more. It is a cool, one-of-a-kind experience that is at the San Bernardino County Museum until November 25th.

I found him, can I keep him? I wonder if we have enough room for Fluffy to go home with us?
While there is a ton of room in the trunk there wasn't enough room for Fluffy. So Fluffy had to stay at the museum.
The next Disney-related adventure takes us down the road from the San Bernardino County Museum, to The Lincoln Memorial Shrine. The outside of the shrine is lined with quotes from some of Lincoln's greatest speeches.
The reason why we are here is to see the Reflections of the Face of Lincoln created by Garner Holt Productions. The presentation is $5 and while there is no photographer or video recording of the presentation, you get to see the most advanced facial feature audio-animatronic create by Garner Holt Productions. The bust of Lincoln is incredibly lifelike and is a must see. The presentation will be there until December 29, 2018.

The next Disney-related adventure took us to the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Parking is free and I like to arrive early. We were the first ones in their underground parking lot.
We were here to see The Jim Henson Exhibition: Imagination Unlimited that runs until September 2nd. It is a traveling exhibition though I do not know where it is heading to next. But if you are a big fan of anything that Jim Henson did then you will find something to love here at this exhibit!
One of the first things you see is Kermit The Frog. Jim voiced Kermit for years and in many ways is the personification of Jim himself. So, this is a personal greeting by Jim Henson himself.
The exhibit takes you through the timeline of Jim Henson's unlimited imagination and we end up on Sesame Street with some old familiar friends!
It's time to get things started on The Muppet Show tonight! I love the photo opportunities they have!
Awww The Muppet Babies versions of Miss Piggy and Fozzie!
I wanted some of the old gang to hope right on in! They would have plenty of room in the rear seating area and more than enough leg room! Well, maybe not Big Bird though! But they will get a new fold-down center armrest with cupholders.

And the last trip on this epic week of Disney-related adventures ends at The Walt Disney Studio for a media screening of Christopher Robin!
This film is so charming and heartfelt! Any fan of Winnie The Pooh needs to see this movie!
The Skyactive-G 2.0 Liter inline-four is a solid engine offering 148 horsepower. The CX-3 offers crisp steering and a firm ride. The CX-3 also gets good gas mileage with 29 mpg city and 34 mpg highway and 31 mpg combined.
The 2019 Mazda CX-3 is loaded with features including large 18-inch alloy wheels, rain-sensing windhield wipers, heated power mirrors with turn lamps, power moonroof, leather front seats, heated front seats, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, LED headlights, navigation system, 7-inch color touchscreen display, rearview camera, rear cross traffic alert and more!
The model I reviewed also came with the optional Premium Package which added a 6-way adjustable power driver's seat, driver's power lumbar support, driver's seat memory, heated steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror and traffic sign recognition.
As tested, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 came in at $28,225 fully loaded. At the end of a Disney-related fun filled week, the CX-3 provided a wonderful driving experience! State of the art technology combined with a ton of features make this a great subcompact-crossover choice!
